  • Through primary health care services and sessions on health awareness; awareness has been created among the community people to receive modern medical services; peoples are more interested to have services from skilled and trained service providers. Ultimately it contributes to reduce death rate during child births and infant stages.
  • The community people articulate their opinion on the intervention that the women are now aware of their rights; they can now move out from their four walls of lives. They have independently undertaken significant measures to stop and minimize early marriage; polygamy and illegal divorce as well as gender-based violence in the family and community level.
  • Before the intervention of ICDP, women did not know how to involve with economic earning activities; now they are involved with economic earning activities and they earn additional income which help to meet their family necessities. This indicates the empowerment of women in family and in community levels.
  • As community people have gathered knowledge and techniques on disaster risk reduction and climatic change adaptation; adaptation capacity and protection technique initiatives have been improved among the project beneficiaries against climate change affect and sudden or seasonal natural calamities. It helps them to avoid uncertain damages of wealth and lives.
  • A cohesive functional relationship among POs, LSPs, CSOs and Government agencies have been developed which will be helpful to continue social development activities after the project support is phased out.
